Five years ago ten crazy Z3 owners heard about a Z3 event going on at the factory. Details were very limited, there were no invitations, no confirmations, no reservations. Yet somehow we talked each other into going. None of us had met in person before, but we knew each other via the Z3 message board. The first Z3 homecoming convoy(s) came together in Nashville Tennessee. We met at Centennial Park in front of the recreated Parthenon.

Carter Lee and myself were part of that original group, and seeing how it was the 5th anniversary of that initial meeting we decided to talk some other Z3ers into going back to Centennial Park. With the promise of a good photo opportunity we rounded up 15 Z3 the morning after the Nashville party. My car may have changed, but in the above photo from 1997 and below photos from 2001 I'm proud to say that's my arctic silver Z3 in front.
