The downtown event may just be my favorite part of homecoming. Up on the street all the Z3s are lined up, owners milling about checking out each others options and upgrades (and taking a lot of pictures).

Take some steps down from the street and you find yourself in the middle of a party. BMW provided the food, band and a fireworks show. Every car attending also received a backpack/portable picnic thing which was very nice.

The rain that haunted the entire weekend subsided for this event. Unfortunately the threat of rain resulted in everyone leaving their tops up so I spent less time on the street this year and more time down in front of the band (not a bad trade off).
