Saturday night we got to visit the factory one last time. Waiting outside the cafeteria we got to look over the new Mini (and play with the vertical Z3 exhibit).

Once inside the cafeteria BMW once again fed us, spoke about homecoming and confirmed "they are pregnant" (in reference to the next Z3). Beyond that no one inside BMW would really talk about the "next" Z3, there was a offhanded comment by the president of BMW manufacturing about the spy shots which seemed to hint that they were not correct.

The highlight of the evening followed the official conversations. Under the disguise of someone from the government, Durwood Fincher (aka Mr Doubletalk) absolutely stole the show and had me laughing so hard I was crying. Go read his webpage, his standup act is just to hard for me to explain.

The conclusion of the evening left us with yet another gift from BMW. A chocolate Z3 was given to everyone attending the saturday night dinner. John Bergeron left his a little to close to drive shaft on the way home, but provided a good laugh to the Z3 message board when he said he had wrecked his Z3 on the way home.
